Hiring Craigievar Community Hall

It is possible to hire the hall for events, the hall can hold up to 90 people and is 15m x7m (50’x24’).

Rates

The hire rate depends on the time the hall is being hired. There are 3 different rates

  • Daytime hire (Monday - Sunday) £12/hour.

  • Evening Use (Monday - Thursday and Sunday) £12/hour

  • Evening Use (Friday and Saturday) £25/hour

Deposits

For Daytime hire there is a £50 refundable deposit. For evening hires please contact the booking secretary for deposit information.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hirers must be at least 25 years of age to hire the hall

  • The hirer is responsible for obtaining licenses for the planned activity, ensuring all fire regulations are followed and arranging for any security as may be required

  • The hirer should provide their own public liability insurance when using the hall. Copies of the insurance should be available to be provided to the Hall committee on request

  • The hirer is responsible for supervision of the premises during the hire period, for any damage to the property and for health and safety during the event. This includes the car park. In some circumstances the Hall Committee will require additional security measure for events, which will be arranged by the Hall Committee, the costs of which are the responsibility of the hirer

  • The hirer is responsible for reimbursement to the Hall Committee for any repairs as a result of damage to the hall, or any fixtures and fittings, during the hire period

  • The hirer is responsible for for setting up and subsequent cleaning of the hall during the hire period

  • If the hall is found to be in an unsatisfactory condition by the Hall Committee after an event, all or part of the deposit will be retained to cover repair or cleaning costs. This amount is at the discretion of the Hall Committee
